Micromax teases Canvas Turbo, signs up Hugh Jackman its new brand ambassador

The Indian smartphone manufacturer, Micromax has teased its upcoming flagship smartphone Micromax Canvas Turbo in a video. A short video ad is uploaded by the company on the YouTube channel in which the Hollywood star, Hugh Jackman shows the phone while saying the tag line of the company. According to a press release by the company, Hugh Jackman is its new brand ambassador and he will be promoting upcoming Canvas phones from the company starting from the Canvas Turbo.

“I am extremely thrilled and honored to be part of the Micromax family. I am a huge lover of India as it is one of the most exciting countries in the world and we also share our love for cricket. Phones are genuinely time saving devices that can help you live a better life while juggling around with different situations,” Hugh Jackman noted after becoming brand ambassador of the company.

There is no information when the Micromax Canvas Turbo will hit the market shelves in the country but we expect company to launch it before Diwali to capitalize the festival season. The phone is rumored to be powered by a quad core processor and will be running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system version.

Now Micromax might also be thinking about going international after its success in the Indian market and by endorsing its products via X-Men movie star it will surely impress the buyers across the globe.
